Business Personal Property is essentially any item a company uses to conduct business that which they may take with them if they move locations, such as furniture, machinery, supplies, inventory, etc. ​Basically, everything but the building itself is considered business personal property.

With the exception of inventory, all business personal property values should be depreciated by the county appraisal district annually to determine their taxable value, however, the appropriate depreciation is not always applied.
